Hi everyone, I have a 13 year old daughter who has extremeley sensitive yet acne prone skin. A dermatologist recommended the dove unscented bar soap, and mineral oil as moisturizer. I don't think the mineral oil is pleasant for her to use, and is greasy. I'm looking for a very gentle noncomedegenic, nonacnegenic moisturizer and any other suggestions anyone has. She' been using the dove, says it's o.k., but skin kinda tight. She's used the cetaphil bar also, and said that felt kind of tight. I don't know what she needs. I know that she does break out with harsher deteregents, glycolic acids and I don't know what to use. I've heard that jojoba oil is nice, but I sure would appreciate any input anyone has to help.

I know only one help for you - www.911balsam.com - cheap and really effective creme. I wouldn't say so if I didn't have te same problem in my family. I bought this for fun. When it helped I was astonished. You can see all this looks rather suspisious. Now I recommend it.

The solution for you and your daughter could be the Aslavital line from Aslaskin, more precisely the Cleansing Milk, the Remineralizing Tonic Lotion, the Moisturizing Cream, and, most of all, the Deep Purifying Mask, all based on Clay . Clay is fantastic for sensitive, acne troubled skin, and I have my own son to prove it. He also had acne one year ago, and these four products, I could say, magically cleaned his face in only three weeks. You can find Aslavital and Aslaskin, the provider, on the net. And, one more thing: they won't damage your budget at all!

So... go eliminate that nasty acne!

I've also used the ASLAVITAL products and the results were far much better than the other lotions I've used untill now!
The results of the Aslavital Total Face Care Kit that I'm using right now are exceptional, because of their ingredients: Cleansing Milk with Clay, Remineralizing Tonic Lotion, Moisturizing Cream with Clay, Anti-wrinkle Cream with Clay and Eye Contour Cream in a gold organza bag, I've have a great complexion!
Try them and let me know if it works ?!!

Have you tried tee tree oil, Austrialian Bodycare products are very good, I'm sure that using a soap and mineral oil is good for the skin doesn't soap strip the skin and mineral oil block the pores?

Anyway I now that QVC UK sell it try the Ketsutgo formula for very acne skin, they have a pack with a face wash and a mosteriser; the plus with buying from QVC is that she can patch test it and if it's not right send it back within 30 days with your money back. My nephew used it was great results. www.qvc.co.uk

Goodluck.

Well how about starting by looking at your childs diet, what goes into the body must come out. I am an esthetic student and would recommend a gentle cleanser. Not bar soap, that is bad for the skin and oil is not good to put on the skin either. I would recommend visiting an esthetician to have a thourough analysis and recommended home care

(ADMIN EDIT FOR SELF PROMOTING)

At the risk of turning this into spam, which is not my intent, we are the only North American retailer of the Botani line. You can purchase the products from our shop at (ADMIN REMOVED URL). We also carry a few products containing Jojoba, such as soaps and oils.

Again, sorry if this is now cl***ified as spam, but I hope it helps your daughter!

Pimples
For those who have pimples in their face, you should try this traditional method to disappear them. Blend 3 pieces of fresh turmeric with a cup of water. Filter to get the filtered turmeric water. Mix the turmeric water with a spoonful of tamarind and a spoonful of sugar. Drink the mixer for everyday for 3 days in every month.

My suggestion would be to switch to certified organic products that contain no synthetic chemicals or petroleum derivatives. Just make sure you check the labels to ensure that they contain nothing that would irritate her skin further such as Glycols and PEGs.
